We finally got the news tonight that everyone has been waiting for…
The Lucky Bags for 2019! (Fanfare! Applause!)
This year’s Lucky Bags will cost the same as last year’s (4,000 yen including tax) and like last year, each bag will include a random Lucky Bag exclusive plush. This year, we get 1 of 3 foot tall versions of Fit plush: Pikachu, Eevee, or Mew.
Lucky Bags will be distributed as usual on a first come first serve basis.
Mega Tokyo, Sky Tree, Tokyo Bay, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, and Pokemon Store locations will have Lucky Bags available January 1st.
Sapporo, Tohoku, Tokyo DX, Yokohama, Nagoya, Kyoto, and Osaka Centers will have Lucky Bags available January 2nd.
The Pokemon Center On-Line put up their lucky bags an hour after the announcement (Friday December 14th at 3 pm JP time) and they sold out a few hours later. Note that this year’s limit seems to be 1 bag per person, vs last year’s 2 bags per person.
Finger Puppets Volume 3
Pokemon Center Finger Puppets return December 22nd (Saturday) with Volume 3!
This release includes: Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Dratini, Psyduck, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Sentret, Furret, Giovanni, and a Team Rocket Grunt.
Each figure costs 300 yen including tax.
Along with Lucky Bags, Pokemon Centers in Japan will also be selling new mascot plush sized Pokedolls and some matching Pokemon themed accessories from January 1st, 2019 (Tuesday).
This batch of Pokedoll mascot plush will include Lapras, Mew, Poliwhirl, Snorlax, and Gengar, with each plush costing 1,058 yen including tax.
There will also be a few Pokemon themed accessories to compliment your plushies.

Last and certainly not least, a sequel to the Saiko Soda promotion that came out earlier this year, called “Mix Au Lait” and featuring all the Eeveelutions, will go on sale in Japan at all Pokemon Centers and Stores from January 1st, 2019 (Tuesday).
As part of the promotion, there will be two Mix Au Lait figure collection sets (Volume 1 & 2) and 1 Saiko Soda figure collection set.
Mix Au Lait Volume 1 includes: Eevee, Vaporeon, Flareon, Jolteon, and Sylveon.
Mix Au Lait Volume 2 includes: Eevee, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, and Glaceon.
Saiko Soda includes: Pikachu, Eevee, Swirlix, Litwick, and Oddish.
All gacha figures are 300 yen per play.

Hello everyone!
With the release of Pokemon Let’s Go! Pikachu & Eevee a week away, we have a bunch of exciting announcements related to the games.
A bunch of Pokemon Center related campaigns related to the original 151 Pokemon will start from November 16th (Friday).
The official Pokemon Center cafe will be offering latte art of all 151 Pokemon by request, with each latte costing 756 yen including tax.
For every drink ordered, you will also receive 1 of 6 random coasters: Pikachu & Eevee, Ditto, Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, or a special secret design.
Anyone who visits the Pokemon Cafe between November 16th (Friday) and March 3rd (Sunday) – or while supplies last – will receive 1 random Pokemon sticker out of a possible 151.
These stickers will also be given out to all Pokemon Centers customer, 1 sticker per receipt, starting from November 16th (Friday) until February 22nd (Friday) – while supplies last.
Starting November 16th (Friday) and running while supplies last, all Pokemon Center & Store customers will receive 1 original My 151 design shopping bag.
Finally, starting November 16th (Friday), all customers who order from the Pokemon Center’s official on-line store will receive their order in a limited edition box featuring 1 random Pokemon out of the original 151.
The much anticipated volume 2 of the Pokemon Fit or Sitting Cuties series will be going on sale at all Pokemon Centers & Stores in Japan from November 16th (Friday).
This release will include the 121 remaining Pokemon that weren’t included in the original Volume 1 release back in July.

Like volume 1, each plush will cost 1,188 yen including tax.
The Pokemon Center, in collaboration with the ceramics brand “Chugaitoen”, will be releasing three ceramic ornaments: Pikachu, Eevee, and Pikachu with Swinub.
These three ornaments will go on sale at all Pokemon Centers & Stores in Japan from November 23rd (Friday).
Pikachu and Eevee individual ornaments will sell for 972 yen each.
The ornament of Pikachu and Swinub will sell for 1,404 yen including tax.
The Pokemon Center’s New Years merchandise for 2019 will go on sale at all Pokemon Centers & Stores from November 23rd (Friday).
Note that these items do not include the lucky bags or other related goods that typically come out around New Years – this mini promotion is for items that are used around New Years, such as traditional Japanese decorations and greeting cards.
