Two quick words before I dive into this week’s Pokemon Center Report~
First off, big apologizes for the lack of updates lately! The blog is not ending, but two weeks in a row we didn’t get merchandise news from the main Pokemon website and then my main source for Pokemon Center photos was on holiday in the United States.
But we are back so I appreciate everyone’s patience.
Second – the official Zombie Miki store is back in business, with a new look and with more items!
Check it out here
I will be adding items in as quickly as I can. Most of these items are from my personal collection and were bought directly from the Pokemon Center in Tokyo over the course of 7 years. They’re all in near perfect if not perfect condition, but if you have any questions about an item, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me!
On that note, if you notice any issues with the cart or checking out, or if you have a question about shipping prices, also please let me know (you can send me a message through my contact page or send me a DM on Twitter). I am happy to offer discounted shipping for larger purchases 🙂
Also as mentioned, I am selling a good majority of my Pokemon merchandise collections, which includes some bigger items such as the New Years Fennekin sleeping plush, New Years Fennekin face cushion, and a complete set of the Monthly Pikachu collection. The Pokemon I collected over the years include: Fennekin, Meowstic, Litwick, Mew, Clefairy, Raichu, Dedenne, Holiday Pikachu, Sylveon, and Vulpix (Kanto & Alolan versions). If there is a specific item you are looking for, there is a good chance I have it and am selling it, so please ask me directly.
The release of the original 151 Kanto region Pokemon Fit plushies were a great success, but even I was still surprised when the Pokemon Center announced they would be continuing the Sitting Cuties series (the international release name) with all Pokemon featured in Gold & Silver… including every single Unown plus ! and ?
(Pictured here is M for Miki, of course)
Although I couldn’t take pictures of every Pokemon in the release, here are a few notable examples~
Pokemon Fit Gold Silver 1
I love this series so much mainly because the plush are all super soft and the perfect size.
Pictured here: Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Sentret, Furret (not to scale), Cleffa, Mareep, Flaaffy, and Ampharos (one of the most popular electric type Pokemon!)
Pokemon Fit Gold Silver 2
I didn’t realize until this release how many Johto region Pokemon I love, and the Pokemon Center did a great job converting everyone’s favorite Pokemon into a super adorable plush form.
I think they did an especially great job with Sudowoodo (which, by the way, is a play on words since he is psuedo-wood-o… in case you didn’t know!)
Also shout out to the second official Dunsparce plush – the first plush was released at Pokemon Centers in Japan in 2013.
Pictured here: Sudowoodo, Politoed, Espeon, Umbreon, Girafarig, Dunsparce, Delibird, Houndour, and Houndoom.
Pokemon Fit Gold Silver 3
Other notable plushies: Smeargle and Miltank (both very cute).
The three legendary beasts came out looking, for the most part, pretty good. My real question is… what animal do you think the beasts are? (I always saw them as dogs)
Pictured here: Stantler, Smeargle, Miltank, Blissey, Raikou, Entei, Suicune.
Pokemon Fit Plush Gold Silver 4
Last but not least – everyone’s favorite recently, most likely because of Pokemon Go: The Tar Family! Tyranitar was definitely one of the big sellers from the release, no joke.
Pictured here: Larvitar, Tyranitar, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi
What was your favorite plush, or plushes, from this release? What did you buy?

Pokemon Fit / Sitting Cuties
Following the success of the initial Pokemon Fit release, which included plush versions of every single 151 Pokemon from generation 1, the Pokemon Center is continuing into the Johto region with plush versions of every single generation 2 Pokemon.
Pokemon Fit (or Sitting Cuties as named by the US Pokemon Center site) are smaller plush designed to Fit in your hand. They make a great addition to any collection, and the series has in a lot of cases created plush for Pokemon who up until now haven’t had official plush available or in other cases any official merchandise at all.
Each plush retails for 1,188 yen.
The list of plush in this release starts with Chikorita and ends with Celebi. It also includes every single Unown from A to Z plus ! ?

Welcome to another catch-up Pokemon Center report post.
The super cute Pikachu & Eevee 7 Days Story promotion went on sale July 21st (Saturday).
Although there weren’t any plush in the line-up, there were still plenty of cute things!
7 Days 1
The main highlight were 7 matching Pikachu & Eevee pins, with 14 designs in total.
The pins were each sold separately, however the Pokemon Center offered a deal where if you bought 1 Pikachu and 1 Eevee they gave you a small discount.
7 Days 2
Cute necklaces! One for Pikachu and one for Eevee.
7 Days 3
Cute hair ties! There were two designs each for Pikachu and Eevee: one round or oval version and one bow shaped version.
7 Days 4
This promotion had a bunch of cute clothing items and bags (including the Eevee shirt and hoodie pictured above).
The skirt ended up being surprisingly popular as it was one of the first items to sell out.
We’ll close up today’s post with a couple random pictures from the newly opened Pokemon Center in Nihonbashi and Mega Tokyo!
Walls and walls of cute Pokemon plush – is this heaven?
Display of some of the plush from the previously released Pokemon Fit series.
Super cute Pikacu plush!
Larger sized Pokemon Center exclusive plush from the Johto and Alola regions.
2018 Summer Movie Bags
Cute tote-bags featuring Pikachu and Eevee as part of the 2018 Pokemon summer movie promotional merch.
An adorable pair of Pikachus, dressed in their Sunday best!
That wraps up today’s Pokemon Center Report~
Until next time!
A lot has come out starting from the end of June and past mid July, when the annual summer Pokemon movie was released in movie theaters, but before I dive into the first of several posts, a quick announcement.
Not only does support through Patreon help keep the site running, but you get neat thank you gifts in return, including sneaky peeks of art I’m working on for t-shirt & coffee cup designs, charms, and stickers. On top of that, every month I make up a new postcard design and mail them out, including a small message from me to you!

Want to show your support but don’t want to commit to Patreon?
>> Buy me ko-fi and I’ll draw you a cute Pokemon (or other simple character of your choice)
I’ve also started selling some of my designs on print-on-demand websites!

I have a bunch of photos from the Pokemon Center (thanks to the lovely Jen from Japanstuffs.com) and will be posting catch-up entries over the next few weeks.
On June 30th, the four Pikachu cosplay plush from the very tiny Poke-Maniac promotion were released.
In order from left to right, Pikachu is dressed as: The Poke-Maniac (cosplaying as a Pokemon), Charizard, Hydreigon, and Tyranitar.
On July 7th, the Pokemon Tropical Sweets promotion was released in Pokemon Centers, alongside the start of the summer exclusive menu items at the Pokemon Cafe in Nihonbashi.
Of special note from this release are the mascot plush designed to look like frosted cookies: Pikachu, Eevee, Alolan Vulpix, and Snorlax. And special Ditto mascot cookie is currently available exclusively through the Pokemon Cafe.
July Poke-Cen Plush
On July 13th, three Pokemon Center exclusive plush were released: Chansey, Sudowoodo, and a huge Snorlax.
Along with the Pikachu & Red mini promotion, featuring original artwork by Sugimoto
And the Pokemon Summer Time promotion.
Along with plenty of cute, summer themed items, the highlights included these four plush: Boy Pikachu, Girl Pikachu, Snorlax, and Rowlet.
On the following day (July 14th), 3 Coins, a popular discount store, started their Pokemon Center collaboration.
Shoulder Mascot Plush
Fast forwarding a bit, these cute mascot plush (Pikachu, Eevee, and Mimikyu) were released without much fanfare on July 28th.
That wraps up this post, but we still have plenty more to cover, so stay tuned!
