Hello everyone!
The main (possibly the only) Pokemon Center promotional release for Halloween went on sale this past weekend (September 8th) to much fanfare.
The highlight for the morning was the Pokemon Center’s on-line store mis-listing the blind packaged acrylic and metal charms. Whoever is suddenly in charge of listing items on the on-line store doesn’t seem to know what they’re doing as I’ve noticed at least one major item with multiple mistakes (price, pre-order time period, release date) but at least in those cases, the item wasn’t yet available for actual pre-order. In this case… they listed both the single charms and the complete set of charms for the same price: 540 yen. The boxes of charms should have been listed at a little under 5000 yen, which is kind of a big mistake. Both sets sold out by the 2 minute mark.
I’m not sure if the Pokemon Center honored those orders or not, but they were quickly relisted under the right yen amounts. If people did manage to score boxes of charms for 540 yen, then nice job to the ones who scored big!
The main highlights for this release were the plush and mascot plush.

Mascot plush are smaller sized stuffed animals, usually about 6 inches, that include a clip, chain, or loop so you can attach them to bags. They make great travel companions!

Halloween 2018 Mugs
Bonus! This year’s Halloween promotion had not one but two mugs!
Team Treat had a cute mug featuring the main promotional artwork and a lid with a tiny ceramic Joltik.
Team Trick had a mug that looks dark and plain at first, but the main artwork is revealed when the mug is filled with a hot beverage (I love heat changing mugs!)

As I expected, the Pokemon Center finally gave us the official merchandise list for this year’s Halloween promotion… but not many pictures yet again. Although at least we did get pictures of all the plush and a couple extras (unlike when Pokemon Time was originally announced…)
As mentioned previously, the Halloween promotion will drop September 8th (Saturday) at all Pokemon Centers and Stores in Japan.
Halloween 2018 Plush
This year’s promotion doesn’t have quite as extensive a selection as past years however on the other hand we have 6 plush and 4 mascot plush, which is a lot for a Pokemon Center promotion.
The Halloween promotion is divided into two parts: Team Treat (with Pikachu) and Team Trick (with Mimikyu).
The three main plush for Team Treat are Pikachu, Ampharos, and Sylveon. The three main plush for Team Trick are Mimikyu, Pumpkaboo, and Gengar.
Each plush will cost 1,944 yen including tax.
The two mascot plush for Team Treat are Umbreon and Dedenne. The two mascot plush for Team Trick are Banette and Sableye.
Each mascot plush will cost 1,296 yen including tax.
Along with the plush, there will also be two sets of A4 size clearfiles, with 3 designs per set (410 yen including tax per set).
Cookie tins, with one design for Team Treat and one for Team Trick (972 yen including tax per tin)
Halloween 2018 Cookies
Each tin comes with print cookies – cookies with Pokemon printed on them. As probably assumed, the Team Trick cookie tin will have cookies featuring Team Trick Pokemon, and same for Team Treat.
Halloween 2018 Charms
There will be two types of blind packaged charms – each will cost 540 yen including tax for a single charm.
Team Treat is acrylic charms and has 9 charm designs in total (Banette, Sableye, Gengar, Bewear, Pumpkaboo, Misdreavus, Mimikyu, Rotom)
Team Trick is metal charms and has 8 charm designs in total (Eevee, Vulpix Pair, Swirlix/Whimsicott/Vanillite, Espeon, Umbreon, Sylveon, Ampharos, Pikachu, Dedenne)

The final photos for the Pokemon Time Vol 11 release coming out tomorrow (Saturday August 25th) surfaced so better late than never!
First up: three surprise plush!
For the first time in Pokemon Time history, the Pokemon Center is selling human plush.
Pre-orders for Acerola, Lillie, and Moon will start August 25th (Saturday) at 10 am and close September 30th (Sunday) at 11:59 pm JP time.
Plush are scheduled to ship out January 2019.
Each plush costs 4,104 yen with tax.
Along with plush, the three trainers will join their companion Pokemon (Cosmog, Rowlet, and Mimikyu) for the Pokemon Time gacha, making two more firsts for the Pokemon Time series.
As I sort of expected, the three main Pokemon Time plush look pretty much the same as their mascot plush counter parts… simply bigger.
We also finally can see the very original skajan inspired hats from the skajan portion of the Pokemon Time release!

Pikachu Halloween Party 2018 – Daisuki Club

The main Pokemon Center Halloween promotion for 2016, Pokemon Halloween Circus, was released last weekend, and everything was just as cute as one could hope for!
There were two parts to this promotion, with the first being the Circus Parade themed items, with the highlight being the plush. There were two types of larger sized plush, one being Pikachu dressed as a juggler
And Eevee dressed as a ghostie pirate.

And Eevee were available in smaller mascot plush size as well, along with
Espeon and Umbreon
Plusle, Minun, and Drifloon (looking extra grumpy and extra adorable with his little bat wings and ears). It’s a little hard to see in this picture, but Plusle and Minun are sold separately and not together.
Along with plush, there were other cute Halloween themed items including a logo pin
Two different metal charm sets (the other set has Eevee, Umbreon/Espeon, and Drifloon)
Here is the display for the blind packaged item for this promo. The set had 10 possible designs (Pikachu, Eevee, Plusle/Minun, Pumpkaboo, Drifloon, Umbreon, Espeon, Electrode, Joltik, Meloetta) and does not include a secret Pokemon.
The second half of the 2016 Halloween promotion included a bunch of spooky Pikachu jack-o-lanterns!
