Pokemon Center Report – Little Tales

Pokemon Center Report – Little Tales

A new addition to the popular Pokemon Little Tales promotion came out Saturday, April 8th, and everything was as adorable as expected!

I’m a personal fan of this series as I love the art, created by Shinzi Katoh, who has a very unique style. If you’re a fan like me, you can check out his website here.

Every year there is a new set of plush and mascot plush. The plush this year are a boy and girl Pikachu pair going berry picking.

While the mascot plush are a boy and girl Pikachu pair holding little balloons, going to a little party.

This year’s release also included a third plush: a bigger sleeping Pikachu cushion!

There was a lot of stationary related items in this release. Along with a cute stationary set, there were also two greeting cards (with envelopes), four different designs of decoration (washi) tape, a sticker roll featuring 100 stickers divided into 5 different designs, and two sizes of notebooks.

What good are notebooks without pencils to write with? There were two different types of pencils available (KuroToga and Delguard), each with a different illustration theme.

The Little Tales series tend to feature home goods that aren’t generally seen in other Pokemon Center promotions, and this release was no exception. Along with a cute wooden fork and spoon set, three was also a pasta bowl and a set of glass tupperware, as well as a more traditional Center item: a mug with one of the main promotion illustrations (shown in the background of this photo).

The home goods continued with this adorable photo frame and three types of towels. There were two smaller sized towels (hand and face) that were both this purple pattern with the sleeping Pikachus, plus a small bath towel with the berry picking Pikachu artwork.

Another staple of the Little Tales series: fashion merchandise! There was a shoulder bag, pouch, wallet, pass case, and card case all with this same pink background illustration. They’re cute and simple designs that can easily be used in every day life while not being necessarily over the top but also still being cute and Pokemon. The charm point for me is the little Whismur in the window.

More fashion goods! There was an earring set, with one pair of dangling charms and one pair of studs, as well as two different sets of metal charms because everyone loves metal charms.

That concludes today’s Pokemon Center Report! What did you think of this year’s Little Tales promotion?

If there was anything that piqued your interested, you can still place an order via Japan Stuffs to get the items you desire 🙂

Until next time!
