Hello everyone!
Welcome to another Pokemon Center catch-up post. This time, we’ll be going over the first release from the Pokemon Fit series.
The first part of the release came out July 13th, the same day as the 2018 Pokemon summer movie came out. The second part of this release, which will include all the Pokemon that weren’t part of the original release, is scheduled for November 2018, probably coinciding with the Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee games.
The series is called “Pokemon Fit” because the Pokemon are designed to be smaller plush that can easily fit in the palm of your hand. My consensus on this line? Everything is adorable!
I don’t have pictures unfortunately of all the Pokemon in this release, but here are some!
Pokemon Fit 1
I love Omanyte and Shellder: they look so goofy!
Pokemon Fit 2
Not pictured here (but you can see them in the group picture at the top of this post): Jolteon and Eevee. I think Eevee looks especially adorable! Shout out to Exeggutor who ended up with a nice looking plush.
Pokemon Fit 3
The three legendary birds (Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres) and Mew~
Mewtwo should be included in the next release.
Pokemon Fit 4
Ducks! This release included Farfetch’d (who looks amazing) and Golduck. Psyduck should be in the next release.
Pokemon Fit 5
Grab bag of plush! Sandshrew, Diglet, Machamp, Geodude, and Alakazam.
Geodude looks so grumpy, I just want to hut him!
Pokemon Fit 6
Dragonite (Dratini and Dragonair will be next batch), Drowzee, Arcanine, and Voltorb! I love Dragonite’s plush, he is precious.
Pokemon Fit 7
Ekans, Rattata, Jigglypuff, and Meowth! (Persian will be next batch!)
Plush I’m excited for in November: Clefairy, Vulpix, Raichu, and Dragonair.
Plush I’m excited to see (although I don’t collect them): Tauros, Cubone, Ponyta, Abra, Vileplume, Zubat, Pidgey, and Butterfree!

Hello everyone!
We have some super exciting news for this week, so let’s dive in.
The Pokemon Center announced a brand new exclusive plush line. Called “Pokemon Fit”, these plush are billed as being super cute and small enough to easily hold in your hand.
This batch will go on sale at all Pokemon Centers & Stores in Japan July 13th (Friday) and includes 30 Pokemon:
Alakazam, Arcanine, Articuno, Diglett, Ditto, Drowzee, Ekans, Exeggutor, Farfetch’d, Geodude, Golduck, Dragonite, Eevee, Flareon, Jigglypuff, Jolteon, Kangaskhan, Machamp, Meowth, Mew, Moltres, Omanyte, Pikachu, Rattata, Sandshrew, Shellder, Staryu, Vaporeon, Voltorb, and Zapdos.
This release is marked as “Part 1”. Part 2 is scheduled for November 2018 and will include the remaining 121 Pokemon from the original Pokemon Red and Blue 151 line-up. So if you love generation 1 Pokemon and don’t see your favorite in this release, don’t fear!
Next up!
Starting July 21st (Saturday), Pikachu’s Closet will be adding a girl Pikachu to their plush line-up. The new plush will cost the same as the currently released boy Pikachu plush: 3,780 yen with tax.

Along with girl Pikachu, two new clothing sets (Pajama and Formal Wear) will also be released on the same day. Although these sets are billed as being “for girls”, there is nothing stopping you from dressing boy Pikachu in them if you so chose.
The Pajama Set will cost 3,456 yen after tax and the Formal Wear Set will cost 3,780 yen after tax.
The official Pokemon Center Cafe updated with the aforementioned hinted at summer exclusive menu items. These food items will only be available between July 13th (Friday) and September 2nd (Sunday) so don’t miss out!

This past Friday only gave us 1 bit of merch news, and it was a mini collaboration between Pokemon and Loft, a chain store that sells every-day items.
There are 6 items in the collaboration line-up and, unsurprisingly, they’re all every-day use items, with a Pikachu theme. The items went on sale starting Saturday, May 28th, and are available at all Pokemon Center locations, as well as some Loft branches.

Every summer, 7-11s across Japan sell bento boxes with artwork featuring the main Pokemon from the summer movie for that year. Preorders for this year’s lunch boxes will start from May 30th and similar to last year, there will be two types of boxes: the normal bento box and a box designed specifically for sandwiches.
The regular box will retail for 1,280 yen and contains 1 hamburg and cheese onigiri, 1 tuna and mayo onigiri, 1 croquette, 1 tamago-yaki, broccoli, star-shaped carrots, and spaghetti.
The sandwich box will retail for 1,180 yen and contains 1 tuna sandwich, 1 shrimp and broccoli salad sandwich, and 1 chicken and vegetable sandwich.
The regular box also comes with a pair of chopsticks; the sandwich box does not.

There were two big toy and figure shows over the past weekend; one specifically for up-coming game center prizes and one for figures. As seems to be the norm lately with Pokemon game center prizes, most of the plush were labeled as “do not photograph”, but some information leaked onto the internet anyway, along with up-coming Megahouse figures.
