Pokemon Center Report: Mystery Mansion, TCG, Bonus Items

It’s been a few months since I was able to attend a Pokemon Center release myself.

Before we head into the new items, here is a little catch up from last weekend.

Mystery Mansion came out (sold out, was restocked, sold out, and was again restocked) on the 19th!

Umbreon watches seemed to be one of the most popular items from the promo, along with the blind packaged charms.

The notebooks, while maybe not the most popular, are still cute in my opinion.

These cookie tins came out as well, as a surprise. They are, unsurprisingly, coffee flavored!

These 3DS and LL cases and face plates also come out the same weekend.

This past weekend was card sleeves and the new Break series! These three designs were Pokemon Center exclusives.

We also got these special packs, which each come with either a Raichu or Noivern break card…

Along with the actual Break expansion packs.

Next up: My Pokemon Collection – Generation 2 Starter plush!

Friday Pokemon Announcements – Mystery Mansion, Dot Sprite, Monthly Pikachu

As hoped, we finally got information on, up until now, mysterious Mystery Mansion promotion.

The line-up is not quite as large as Halloween Parade 2015, but items include…

Pocket watch
Train pass case

Flip case for iPhone 6
Set of glasses
Sketch books

Hoodie (S/M/L)
2-way bag

Along with the items pictured, there will also be:

Clearfile set (2 versions
Gold leaf stickers (Banette, Froslass, Chandelure, Umbreon)
Metal strap collection
Pen case
Hand towel
Face towel

We also finally have an official announcement for the dot sprite series update, featuring the gen 1 starters.

Most of the items are stationary based, but there will also be cute keychains, pouches, and as always, train pass cases.

Finally, we also got an official announcement for October’s Monthly Pikachu: Artist-chu!

All of these items are set to come out in Pokemon Centers on September 19th, which incidentally, is also the same day of the start of the pre-release for the Banpresto Mew plush from the up-coming I Love Mew series as well as the Pikachu Sleeping Bag Collection kuji.

Pokemon Center Report – Lazy Plush Round 2

The second round of lazy plush were released at Pokemon Centers across Japan today.

Excluding the Slowpoke plush that came out on the 10th, this set featured Umbreon

And the best one (hehe) Espurr!

Each Pokemon also had a sleeping version. Similar to Pokemon Time, Umbreon seemed to be the best seller of the day. Sleeping Umbreon was sold out at the Mega Tokyo Center by mid-afternoon, and from appearances, regular Umbreon is not far behind.

I was especially excited for Espurr and Umbreon, and am very proud that my favorite Eeveelution seems to be so popular! The only disappointment for the day was no poster advertising lazy plush round 3. Considering how popular rounds 1 and 2 were, I don’t think the Pokemon Center would just quit, especially since we are still missing Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon before the Eeveelution line is complete. With the I Love Mew Banpresto series just around the corner, the inclusion of a Mew lazy plush seems likely as well.

The Pokemon Center did, however, throw us a small bone: a poster advertising the up-coming Halloween promotion, titled “Mystery Mansion”. What sort of items will be included and what Pokemon will be featured! Can we perhaps expect a Haunter plush?! Fingers crossed that we get more information next Friday to make up for the complete lack of update this past Friday.
