There’s been a couple of smaller new merchandise releases between June and July that don’t fit in with a bigger promotion and this post will cover some of them!
Delicious Water Mascot Plush
The Delicious Water Pokemon Center promotion dropped May 18th (Saturday). Some astute observers might have noticed the art style was similar to the previously released Mix Au Lait and Saiko Soda promotions, and you would be correct; Delicious Water was part of this same series, but with a watery twist.
The mascot plush were the most popular from this release, and rightfully so. There was a plush made for each water starter Pokemon from the current 7 Pokemon regions.
Why does only Piplup get a crown? My guess… there is someone involved with Pokemon merchandising who loves Piplup, which explains why he gets so much merchandise while simultaneously not selling well ever. You can push it all you want, Piplup person, but it’s not going to happen (I’m sorry).
Along with the main Delicious Water items, there were a bunch of Saiko Soda stuff as well, including bags and t-shirts.
Following in the footsteps of the last Mix Au Lait release, the Delicious Water promotion also included a gacha set with each figure being paired with a mini bottle of water figure.
Japanese Style June
June 16th (Saturday) saw the release of the Japanese Style promotion, featuring a bunch of more traditional Japanese items with a Pokemon twist.
There were a lot of neat items, but some highlights included: a set of four plates, four different 2 plate sets, two different types of bento boxes, super cute chopsticks with Umbreon and Espeon, aprons, and traditional Japanese short pants for wearing outside in summer when it’s hot.
An unannounced mini Pokemon Center promotion, featuring mostly apparel with a neon theme and aptly titled “Neon Color”, came out June 22nd (Saturday).
Although maybe not too exciting, the set included phone cases, some bags, t-shirts, hats, and a bunch of socks.

Chokkori-San June
A new set of Chokkori-san sitting plush came out near the end of June.
This set of 8 plush included: Popplio, Litten, Rowlet, Lillie, Alolan Vulpix, Mew, Mewtwo, and Zeraora.
I love this series because the plush look so cute in their little sitting poses and also they can hold things with their tiny hands!
Eeveelution Pass Case
June 29th (Saturday) had a couple of surprise unannounced releases, one being a set of Eeveelution plush face pass cases.
They’re all cute (and soft!) but Umbreon is my favorite ❤
Ditto Charm Sets
Another June 29th unannounced release – Ditto Transform linking charm sets!
It’s been so long since the last release of these charm sets I forgot they existed, so it was kind of a nice surprise.
There were 6 charm sets in total:
Leafeon, Glaceon, Sylveon
Furret, Alolan Vulpix, Dragonite
Whimsicott, Gloom, Shaymin
Lapras, Magikarp, Omanyte
Mareep, Electrode, Magnemite
Litwick, Sableye, Misdreavus
Some of these sets make complete sense. Some of them… don’t. But that’s fine! The Pokemon Center can do what it wants as always.

Pikachu & Eevee Fan Figure Collection
From the Pikachu & Eevee Fan collection comes a Pokemon Center exclusive set of gacha figures featuring Pikachu, Eevee, and some of their friends dressed up as either Pikachu or Eevee.
Pika Vee Fan Figure
The set includes 6 figures in total with no secret designs (Pikachu, Eevee, Psyduck, Slowpoke, Rowlet, and Piplup).
As usual with gacha sets, one play costs 300 yen. Figures will start appearing in Pokemon Centers & Stores around Japan from May 25th (Saturday).
Graniph Graphic Shirts Part 2
Pokemon Center’s collaboration with the Graniph graphic shirt company continues with a part two, featuring matching shirt designs for parents and children (or completely unrelated adults and kids).

This week’s Pokemon merchandise announcements are pretty… lackluster.
Friday was a public holiday in Japan and so the announcements actually went up on Thursday, so I apologize for dropping the ball there. So maybe it’s good that there were only two announcements.
First up – the Pokemon Center’s blind packaged can badge series continues with a set of 18 Kalos themed badges going on sale at all Pokemon Centers & Stores in Japan from December 15th (Saturday).
One badge costs 300 yen.
A bunch of Pikachu and Eevee themed accessories (earrings, hair ties, necklaces, rings) will go on sale at all Pokemon Centers & Stores in Japan from December 1st (Saturday).
The listing is pretty ambiguous, with everything listed on the page as “accessory” with prices ranging from 864 yen to 1,620 yen.

Kalos Region Pokemon Center Can Badges

A bunch of releases were announced today, so let’s dive right in~
From the Pokemon Card Game side!
Along with the High Spec: GX Ultra Shiny booster packs (sm8b), a set of Pokemon Center original card sleeves, featuring the Battle Chatelaine girls, will also go on sale November 2nd (Friday).
Each pack contains enough sleeves for a full deck plus a few extra and will cost 777 yen including tax.
The K-Uno jewelry company is finally completing their Eeveelution necklace series with Jolteon, which is currently available for order.
Necklaces are 12,000 yen each, including tax, and are made with silver.
The Pokemon Yurutto series returns with volume 2 to all Pokemon Centers & Stores in Japan on November 10th (Saturday).
Pokemon Yurutto Volume 2
Volume 2 includes: Pikachu, Dedenne, Rowlet, Croagunk, Pyukumuku, and Slowpoke. Each play costs 300 yen per usual.
A brand new series with an amigurumi theme for winter will go on sale at all Pokemon Centers & Stores around Japan November 3rd (Saturday).
With a hand-knit style, the promo includes plush, pouches and bags, fuzzy and soft clothing to keep you warm, and other cute items. It also includes my very favorite winter Pokemon Center cookie: polvorones! I highly recommend this cookie, which usually comes in an equally adorable and collectable cookie tin.
