Pokemon Fit Volume 2 Release

Pokemon Fit Volume 2 Release

Hello everyone!

The second volume of the popular Pokemon Fit Pokemon plush series was released in Japan November 16th (Friday), the same day that Pokemon Let’s Go! Pikachu & Eevee dropped.

Pokemon Center Pokemon Fit Plush

The Pokemon Fit plush series included every single Pokemon from the original 151 list over two release dates – volume 1 plush went on sale back in July (see this post for Pokemon Center photos), and the remaining 121 Pokemon were included in this volume 2 release.

I love the Pokemon Fit series. The style is incredibly cute, the size is perfect, and it gives a chance for some Pokemon who might never have gotten plush to have their first plush.

I unfortunately don’t have photos of every single Pokemon included in this release, but here are some highlights from over the weekend!

Pokemon Fit Vol 2 – 1

Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Caterpie, Butterfree, Pidgey

Pokemon Fit Vol 2 – 2

Rattata, Raticate, Raichu, Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, Clefairy, Clefable

Pokemon Fit Vol 2 – 2

Vulpix, Zubat, Gloom, Persian, Psyduck, Growlithe, Bellsprout

Pokemon Fit Vol 2 – 3

Ponyta, Rapidash, Gastly, Haunter, Onix, Krabby

Pokemon Fit Vol 2 – 4

Chansey, Tangela, Goldeen, Seaking, Mr Mime, Scyther, Jynx

Pokemon Fit Vol 2 – 5

Tauros, Kabuto, Snorlax, Dratini, Dragonair

What do you think of the Pokemon Fit / Sitting Cuties series? Which Pokemon is your favorite?

Until next time~

Pokemon Center Report – Spring Time For New Years + Pokedolls: The Return

Welcome to the New Year everyone!

First of all, a semi big announcement. I have a new photographer for while I am in America: the amazing and super nice Jen from Japanstuffs! Not only does she take photos of plush, but she sells them, too (and other stuff). So if you’re interested in buying stuff from Japan, including anything and everything from this post and any of my future posts, check out her site.

Moving on: Pokemon!

The New Year is bringing the return of the Pokedoll series, which has been dormant for about two years or so. The first three Pokedolls of the new series were released early through the Tokyo Skytree Pokemon Center location only a day or two before January 1st, but if you missed out on this pre-release, do not worry as they will be available everywhere in Japan starting January 14th.

The three Pokedolls were I guess unsurprisingly the three starters: Litten

Popplio

and Rowlet!

The dolls seem to be a little bigger than the previous Pokedoll incarnation, and because of this, the price has once again increased (they are now 1,296 yen after tax).

Pokemon decided to change the tags once again, and “Pokedoll” is now “Pokemon Dolls”.

What do you think of the new Pokedolls? Are you happy with the changes or ambivalent? What Pokemon are you excited to see maybe in Pokedoll form?

The big promotion for New Years was…Spring! Spring! Spring! This series looked super adorable from the preview photos and the real items are somehow even more adorable.
