Hello everyone!

This post will briefly cover the release of a small zodiac and Pokemon crossover promotion “Pocket Monsters Star Series” from the Showa Note company.

Although not exclusive to Japanese Pokemon Centers, there is a bunch of really cute items and I hope you find them as neat as I do.

Any promotion worth it’s salt will offer some sort of acrylic charm selection or plush (or both if they’re feeling spicy enough!) For this promotion, we got 1 acrylic charm for each zodiac sign.

The zodiac signs are as follows:

Aries (Mareep & Pikachu)
Taurus (Tauros & Pikachu)
Gemini (Pikachu + Plusle & Minun)
Cancer (Krappy & Pikachu)
Leo (Shinx & Jigglypuff + Pikachu)
Virgo (Eevee & Pikachu)
Libra (Togepi & Pikachu)
Scorpio (Gengar & Gligar + Pikachu)
Sagittarius (Pichu & Pikachu)
Capricorn (Skiddo + Pikachu Male & Female + a very tiny Mimikyu)
Aquarius (Squirtle & Pikachu)
Pisces (Lapras & Staryu + Pikachu)

I really like the Pokemon groups they picked to represent each star sign, and as a Scorpio, I’m especially pleased with Gengar and Gligar (Gligar is a cutie!)

Along with the charms, there was also two types of pouch. One was a smaller “tissue pouch” designed to hold packets of tissues, and was available in two designs.

There was also a more traditional pouch pouch for non tissue items, although I’m sure you could fit tissues in this pouch as well if you wanted. This type of pouch was also available in two designs.

Glasses are kind of hard to take pictures of, due to their very nature, but it’s similar to the pouches shown above with the same designs per color.

There were two types of clearfiles, both available in two designs. The type of clearfile shown here are the usual A4 sized clearfiles. The other type was a 3 pocket A5 size clearfile.

My favorite type of memo pad was included in the line-up as well! Each memopad contains 72 pages, and includes all 12 zodiac star signs.

The last item with Pikachu on the front is actually not a memopad set but a compact mirror.

Unsurprisingly for a company that specializes in stationary type merchandise, there was a bunch of stationary related stuff in the line-up as well!

Along with sticky notes and stickers pictured here, there were also two types of decoration tape, two types of A5 size notebooks, as well as four types of hand towels, two types of drawstring pouches, and two types of tote-bags.

You can see more photos of the merchandise here on the official Showa Note webpage.

That wraps up today’s Pokemon Center Report! Until next time~
