Along with July’s Monthly Pair Pikachu and the 5th batch of kuttari plush that came out today in Japan, the Pokemon Center surprised us with two mini stationary promotions: Mori Asobi (Forest Playtime) and Trick Battle.

NewMiniSeries

These stationary mini promotions can sometimes be easy to miss, especially if they’re released without notice, but they’re great if you like Pokemon themed items (rulers, pencils, notebooks, clearfiles, etc) that you can easily use in your everyday life.

Mori Asobi is a cutesy forest playtime theme featuring Pikachu, Pichu, Pachirisu, Eevee, and Shaymin, as well as Swablu, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Dedenne, and Azurill. These items are perfect if you love cute Pokemon playing together and gingham! Another plus to this theme is the lack of default Pokemon art; the original illustrations with them playing together, sleeping, and eating is adorable.

One fairly unusual item is this mini sticker book. Along with stickers featuring artwork from the Mori Asobi line-up, there is also a couple pages with Pokedoll stickers. If you are a Pokedoll collector and or fan, definitely don’t pass this up!

Trick Battle is a more standard Pokemon theme with Pokemon featured in the up-coming 2016 summer Pokemon movie: Ash’s Greninja, Shiny Mega Gardevoir, Shiny Mega Gengar, Volcanion, Zygarde 10%, Zygarde Perfect Forme, and of course Pikachu. The art is a little more defaulty, but if you like Mega Pokemon or Ash’s Greninja, then this line-up is probably more your style.
