There were a couple announcements worth repeating from this past Friday’s update.

First up, a second part to the Pokemon Graphix t-shirt series is coming out June 25th. Each shirt design will come in two versions: the shirts on the left will be available everywhere, while the shirts on the right will be exclusive to the on-line Pokemon Center store. All shirts come with a sticker, featuring the same design as the shirt bought, in a tiny transparent pouch. Shirts are 5,184 yen for small, medium, and large, and 5,400 yen for extra-large.

An incredibly cute gummi-themed promotion comes out in all Pokemon Centers and Stores June 25th. Surprisingly enough, for a series of items that are all based on delicious looking candy, there isn’t any actual gummies being sold as part of the set.

SukiyaPokemon

Sukiya (a chain fast-food restaurant that specializes in beef and other rice bowls and curry) started a Pokemon collaboration this weekend. If you buy a SukiSuki set from now while supplies last, you will receive of 1 of 5 cute figure straps. The figures are blind packaged, but the 5 possible Pokemon are: Braixen, Chespin, Dedenne, Greninja, and Pikachu.

As an aside, the cheese beef bowl from Sukiya is my favorite and pretty delicious. You can’t go too wrong with beef covered in melty cheese.

EeveePostcards

From June 18th until July 15th, the Yokohama Pokemon Center will be giving out Eeveelution postcards for every 2,000 yen spent. To reiterate, this campaign is exclusive to the Yokohama Pokemon Center. There will be five different postcard designs distributed in two parts, and customers will be able to choose which design they want during each give-away period.

First Part: June 18th ~ July 1st
Designs: Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon + Espeon, Umbreon

Second Part: July 2nd ~ July 15th
Designs: Leafeon, Glaceon + Eevee, Sylveon

The design featuring all the Eeveelutions together will be available throughout the entire campaign period, but will only be given out on weekdays.

FilmCards

As part of the 2016 summer movie hype, four clear cards featuring scenes from the movie will be given out at all Pokemon Centers and Stores around Japan starting from June 18th. The cards will be given out randomly when you buy the following items:

* Pokemon Card Game – expansion packs, decks, TCG related goods.
* Pokemon Series Nintendo 3DS or Wii U games
* Takara Tomy Monster Collection figures

nanoblocks

And because these releases can sometimes be easy to miss, two brand new Nanoblock sets (Venusaur and Blastoise) will come out on June 24th.

Until next time!
