Hello everyone!
The Pokemon Center gave us two cute promotion announcements on Friday, and I already can’t wait until the release!
First up, the promotion I’m most excited for: Pokemon Dessert Plate!
This promotion, featuring a bunch of sweets themed merch, will go on sale at all Pokemon Centers and Stores in Japan starting August 5th (Saturday).
There are two items that were most intriguing to me: 8 mascot plush, blind packaged figures, and what appears to be, based on description alone, a teapot/teacup set …none of which had pictures because the Pokemon Center is currently being really annoying with their news. Why not give us pictures of the stuff we want the most? Also, I’m not sure if it’s a temporary thing and someone just forgot or if it’s the new trend but none of the pictures this time had labels, which is usually fine, but sometimes what the item is can be ambiguous at best and the labels were helpful. So I dunno… thanks, Pokemon Center??

Posters
Thanks to the lovely Jen from Japan Stuffs, I can include photos of the posters the Pokemon Center put up on Saturday for both the Dessert Plate and Japanese Style promos, which include labels for things as well as pictures for the items everyone is excited about: the plush, the mascot plush, and the figures! The only thing we’re missing is the tea for one set and the mysterious “Charm Collection” from the Japanese promotion. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
As always, thanks for reading and until next time~
I like the Desert Plate line-up. It reminds me a bit of PokéMikke.
And the Japanese Syle… Oh boy, I think I can hear my wallet crying. The flower pattern looks so good on the plushes. ^o^ I’m thinking about getting the Rowlet plates or the rice bowl, but I’d probably end up not using them at all. I might scratch the design with my spoon or something. XD
I was thinking the same thing about the PokeMikke resemblance!
This isn’t the first time they’ve had a Japanese Style promo (I think the last one came out a year or so ago maybe? Maybe two years?) As an aside, Pokemon dishes and cutlery are pretty sturdy, and they’re made for use, so I wouldn’t worry about scratching them with just a spoon or a fork. You can always hand wash if you’re worried about the dish washer as well 🙂
