This week’s announcements were fairly low key but we did get one exciting piece of news!
Based on the Poke-Maniac character from the Pokemon game series, a Poke-Maniac campaign will take place in Japan between June 2nd and July 8th.
During this time, staff and Pikachus dressed as the Poke-Maniac character will make appearances at Pokemon Centers around Japan. There will also be photo spots set up where you can take pictures with dress-up items. If you show this picture to staff at the Center, they’ll give you a free sticker (while supplies last)
Along with the campaign, four Pikachu cosplay plush will go on sale at Pokemon Centers & Stores in Japan on June 30th (Saturday).
The four Pikachu are dressed as: Poke-Maniac, Hydreigon, Tyranitar, and Charizard. Each plush will cost 2,484 yen after tax.
A neon themed series of clothing items and pass cases will go on sale at all Pokemon Centers & Stores in Japan on June 2nd (Saturday).
