After two weeks or so of no news, the Pokemon Center decided to bless us with a couple exciting announcements today!
Pokedex metal charms are back with all the new Generation 7 and Alola Form Pokemon! These metal charms are sometimes the only merchandise certain Pokemon get, so if you tend to like less popular Pokemon, your time has come. The newest batch of metal charms will go on sale at all Pokemon Centers and Stores in Japan on March 11th.

Pokemon With You returns on March 11th to Pokemon Centers and Stores in Japan, coincidentally on the anniversary of the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake. The Pokemon With You series was originally created as a way to raise money for children affected by the Tohoku Earthquake and 100% of proceeds from Pokemon With You merchandise goes to charity, so it’s a nice way to donate and get cute Pokemon stuff at the same time.
The newest batch of metal charms includes a mix of Pokemon, including: Snorlax, Alola Vulpix, Alola Raichu, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Chikorita, Lapras, Dragonite, and Bewear. Each charm costs 270 yen after tax.
This release includes more than just metal charms! There will also be a rather interesting topiary Pikachu mascot plush (1,080 yen)

Finally, we have the Pikachu Easter promotion and associated Pika-Pika Spring campaigns!
The Pokemon Center usually has an Easter promotion every year, with the imagery being spring time and colored eggs. This promotion definitely follows in that tradition, with the highlight being the main Pikachus are girls with the cute heart tail.

Moving on to the Spring Time Campaigns!
Starting April 1st, for every 5 booster packs bought at a Pokemon Center or Store in Japan (and while supplies last), customers will receive a special Pokemon Egg shaped paper package with 1 of 4 possible cards inside. The four cards are: Turtonator, Passimian, Mareanie, or the super special Easter Pikachu card.
There will also be a special in-game Pokemon egg event running from March 18th until April 9th. During this time period, if you go to a Pokemon Center or Store with a copy of Pokemon Sun or Moon, you’ll be able to receive an egg as a gift containing Mareanie, Passimian, Oranguru, Turtonator, Drampa, or Goomy (because why not Goomy).
