This week we actually got some news, including much anticipated information on the 2018 Pokemon Center Easter promotion.
A limited line of charity goods, part of the Pokemon With You series, will go on sale exclusively through the Pokemon Center On-Line store starting March 10th (Saturday).
The line-up includes a Pikachu ceramic tile (7.5 x 7.5 cm – 2,700 yen)
Okiagari
And traditional Japanese papier-mache figures, called Okiagari-koboshi. These dolls are both a good luck charm and a symbol of resilience as no matter how you try to knock them over, they remain upright.
Pikachu, Wobbuffet, Rowlet (Medium Size) – 1,620 yen each
Pikachu, Rowlet (Large Size) – 2,816 yen each
All of the charity goods in this set are hand-made and come from Miyagi and Fukushima prefectures, and as with the Pokemon With You merchandise, a part of the proceeds goes toward helping children affected by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake.
Kotobukiya Lillie
A new Lillie figure from Kotobukiya will be available for pre-order starting March 3rd (Saturday). The pre-order period ends May 31st and figures will start shipping out near the end of November 2018.
The figure costs 9,180 yen after tax. The final product will be colored.
Along with the grand opening of the Tokyo DX Pokemon Center, a permanent Pokemon themed cafe will open as well. Information on the menu as well as exclusive cafe merchandise is now available!
