Friday Pokemon Announcements – Mario x Pikachu Collaboration + Christmas x Winter Promotion 2016

This past Friday gave us two very exciting announcements and I’m even more excited to share them with you!

First up – the collaboration you probably never knew you wanted but: Mario Pikachu!

The majority of items from this promotion will be available at all Pokemon Centers around Japan starting October 29th (incidentally the day before my birthday), however a portion of items will be sold exclusively through the Kyoto Pokemon Center, as well as the on-line store.

Next up, the anticipated (at least by me) Christmas and Winter promotion of 2016! As with last year, we have very cute Pikachu and Eevee plush as part of the Christmas promotion, and a cute snow Pikachu plush for the winter set, along with a bunch of other equally cute items. Of note between these two promotions is the lack of mascot plush and the inclusion of blind packaged metal charms (usually the Christmas metal charms have been sold as sets but not blind packaged).

Both of these promotions will go on sale on the same day (November 3rd) and all items will be available everywhere around Japan.
