We finally got news on the annual “Weird Pokemon Promotion” that typically occurs in February, and this year’s “Weird Pokemon” is…
If you love Mimikyu, then hold on to your butt because this Pokemon Center promotion is only Mimikyu (and Pikachu). This slightly creepy mostly cute promotion will go on sale at all Pokemon Centers and Stores in Japan starting February 10th (Saturday).
There are two plush as part of this release. The first plush is a 1:1 size Mimikyu, with a small surprise.
Technically speaking, Mimikyu is about 20 cm or 7.8 inches.
…this is definitely bigger than 20 cm, though, right!? So is this really life-size?
Actually yes. The 20 cm only measures Mimikyu. The Pikachu head part is technically part of the costume and not part of Mimikyu’s actual body size.
Each 1:1 Mimikyu plush will sell for 4,860 yen after tax.
Plush number 2: a pretty unique Diorama Plush set!
Everyday Mimikyu Diorama
Each plush come with little velcro on the bottom so you can move them around the base as you want and they won’t fall over.
The Diorama Plush set costs 2,700 yen after tax.
Another neat item from the list: a pocket watch!
The last time we had a pocket watch in a merch line-up was several years ago with Mystery Mansion.
Each watch will cost 3,240 yen after tax.
